Can A 4 Week Old Male Cavy Breed With A 6-10 Month Old Female Cavy?

I am getting a Teddy guinea pig in a few days and hes a male. I'm getting him from a breeder. Will I be bale to breed them? This is the only question I have as I know about the risks of breeding cavies.
