My gerbil feels warmer than usual and ive noticed her poo is runny?
Ok first of all i am trained in animal care and yes i am taking her to the vet, But it is just incase anybody has specific knowledge regarding rodents and illnesses and causes, i would love your help. Thankyou x
There is a sickness Wet tail. Its common. Its symptoms are diarrhea.

if her poo is runny and its not sickness, thenyoure feeding her too amny vetetables, yes take her to ther vet

Has she eaten something that wasn't good for her. Usually they get diarrhea from too many greens.

Sounds like an infection. The raised temperature is enough of a cause to take her to the vet, but combined with diarrhoea it is even more important. Diarrhoea could be food related, but combined with the high temperature it does sound more like an infection. The vet may want to send a sample of the poo off for analysis to make sure the correct antibiotic is chosen as some bacteria are resistant to certain antibiotics.
sounds like wet tail....it's extremely fatal but if you go to petsmart or petco they sell a med called dri tail it usually helps but it depends on the stage of the illness...good luck
