My guinea pigs had mange mites 2 months ago, but were taken to the vet and given Ivermectin, they recovered soon after. I removed their old contaminated cozies and left them outside for all that time (autumn-winter). Well, my brother who is a f*cking IDIOT got the contaminated cozies and put them both in with my guinea pigs last week. I was out, so the cozies were in there for at least 6 hours before I got rid of them.
Then a few days later I noticed my piggies scratching, not a lot, but enough for me to worry. Is it possible for them to have been reinfected from having contact with the contaminated cozies even though the cozies have been left out in the cold for the last 2 months?
