yesterday night I fed my hamsters there are 3 of them complete. A while ago, morning, I found one hamster dead with some blood. When I got home I found another dead no blood. My friend heard that red ants eat the eyes of hamsters... I found some red ants. Is it possible that its true? If not... any reasonable explanations why my hamsters died.

sorry to hear that:( if you found red ants then yes it is most likely thats what killed them probably a fire ant :(maybe multiple bites, its very true. if your afraid of them getting into your hamster cage again there is a special chalk you can put around it to keep them out!x
