my hamster scruff is a syrian hamster ad i just gave him some superpet potty litter. He saw it and went into the litter box
he started digging in it at turbo speed. then turned aroung and did it on the other side. he was acting crazy. he stuck his head out. then he scratched himself with his hind leg and is now as i type is rolling around in it, is he ok because i want him to be ok! HELP ME PLZ!!!!!!!

he`s getting used to the potty litter if you used a different brand he may not be used to it. he just might have not been ready to change fluff.

He will be fine most likely he probably is trying to get his scent on it or something so he will feel more comfortable using it. If he is the same in 7 days try calling a vet or something.

Are you sure it is a He? If it is a female, and was with with a male not to long ago, your hamster might be nesting.
