i have a shelter, tank, food dish, water dish, fake plant,a ramp what else do i need and how much will it cost and the shelter also counts as climbing area cuz its kinda like a tree
Crested geckos require a few things, Ill go over all them but if you have one then just skip it.
1) 20 gallon tall tank (can be used from baby to adulthood)=$30 (look on craigslist)
2) Fake plants (you should get a few, I have 3)-$4ea x 3 =$12
3) Temperature and humidity gauge=$8
4) hide-$5
5) crested gecko diet-$7
6) water sprayer-$2
7) water dish + food dish-$10 (their kind of expensive, so i just use caps from things, so its free!
8) Vines-$10
This should be about it, you can do the math. However these prices arent all completely accurate, but it gives you a list atleast of what to look for so you can see how much it costs. I would recommend for you to go to petco.com. They usually have alot of good offers and will ship them free if its over $50 which you will probably spend over. Also I did not mention that you may need some temperature control (fans/heat lamp) depending on if your room does not stay between 70-80 (note: 70-80 is the bare min and max, no lower, no higher. except at night, they can take a temp drop to low 60's but that drop is not required). You should also get paper towels for the substrate unless its a full grown gecko, in which case you can look into some substrates that can help keep the humidity in your tank. I know much about cresties if you have additional questions!
