Not long ago i jst brought a red eared slider turtle, it was in a plastic box with a built in basking. since it's 2 small i decide to move it into a much bigger tank, but the problem is. It has no BASKING, wat should i do? i dont have any ROCks here...
can it still survive ?? Or i should move him back to the plastic box ?

You can make him a basking area by using a thick appropriate sized sturdy branch from a dead tree. Make sure you clean the wood before placing it in the tank. Set it under the lamp and he should be able to climb aboard it and bask when he feels he needs to.

they need a way to get out of the water to dry off and warm up by a heat lamp. you can buy little trutle docks at pet stores for that purpose they cost anywere from $14 to $25 depending on the size your turtle is and the size dock you need. or if your somewhat crafty and can even make something for them to get out onto. But they deffinatly need to get out from time to time or eventually they will start having health issues. i speak from experience i have four turtles that ive had for three years
