i've had mine for 2 years but it still seems pretty small (maybe i dont notice that much because he sleeps on the nightstand next to my bed)
Red Eared sliders will grow either slow or rapidly depending on the amount and type of food your feeding them. If you keep your turtles in warm water and give them all the necessary needs such as basking lamp and UVB and UVA they can grow fast.
