I have a pet hermit crab. I wanted to know if having tin foil in the cage would kill it because i want to use the tin foil as a food holder. And because I am too cheep to buy a real feeder.
You can just get one at the dollar store or something. Or a small dish you have at home. Don't risk it. Do you love your hermit crab?
I don't know if it is harmful or not but if you are going to do that then you need to change it out like every week. I think that you would be better off just using a little plate or bowl that you eat out of and dedicate it to your little hermit crab.
idk if tin foil will kill it, but you should go buy a dish and stop being a cheapskate. If you have a pet, take care of it.
they'll be fine- ive done it for years and the place that distributes crabs to petsores uses aluminum in their caging- no problem
