I was walking my dogs around my apts and they started poking at something with their noses. I looked and see it's this snake eating a frog next to a patio. I got a VERY long stick and got him on the end and ran toward a big field by the apartments. This guy was gonna get his knife but I told him I didn't want it to get killed. He said he used to live in the country and now since he doesn't he has no tolerance for snakes. I told him he shouldn't have moved to a complex next to large park with wildlife and a big field. It's against the law for maintenance to kill them due to our location, but I just thought I'd move him myself before someone found him and was mean to him. I'm not a snake person and it scared the hell outta me, but he wasn't bothering anyone just eating his frog and it's not right just to kill him. Anyways, I saved the snake, but what kind is it?

Long time no see....It's a texas Indigo snake. Sub species of it's northern cousin. they make very good pets. Not a constrictor, not venomous, they just grab and swallow. A friend used to have one about 6 feet long.
Snake person.
where do you live? looks venomous.
