Hi, my horse got really fuzzy this winter, so i was hoping there was some stuff to put in his food to stop it happening again, i put a 1/4 cup of vege oil in his food, i have 2 rugs for him, both of which are neck length, i am getting him a saxon 600 lite combo rug by the end of summer, so yea it needs to be available in australia
you need to put a light in the horses stall to keep him from getting a winter coat. the horses body adjusts to the change in light from summer-winter. shorter days=more hair, and vise versa. so the only way to prevent a fuzzy coat is to put a light in the stall.
