My horse Sadie bay was paralyzed by some animal abusers and I always think that one day she's gonna die..Because of the condition she's in..I just wanna know the best way to say good-bye if I ever figure out she's gonna die
there's never an easy or best way to say goodbye to your best friend in the whole world....im sorry you're in that situation
just make sure she's the most comfortable she can be and don't ever leave the barn mad at her. act like every second is the last and charish it, but think of it more as she's going to another owner....a little girl that will brush her all day and ride her forever. and don't think about her dying at all... take pictures, make good memories, brush her....

Well you can expand her lifetime by consulting some animal rescuers. Don't think about her dying, think about her starting her new wonderful life in heaven.
Hope that helped :D

Just spend all day with her. Brush her until she shines, talk to her and comfort her. Let that her know that she can trust you and that she will be ok. Blow in her nostrils and stroke the crest of her mane because this is how horses show affection to each other.
Sorry to hear about her. Its so horrible what people did to her. Im so glad that she had at least one loving person in her life.

That's a tough situation~~~Get busy making memories...photos, videos, other moments that you spend just with her. It will help you when the time comes to know that you have these done and you can reflect on the things and the times that you spent with her later on.
It's never an easy thing; to have a horse with a chronic condition. The time to say goodbye is when her quality of life is affected to the point that there is measurable suffering for her and she no longer seems to look forward to your daily schedule. She has withdrawn into herself and takes little interest in what goes on around her.
In the interim, do what you can for her to make her days less painful and know that she absolutely appreciates the time that you can spend with her!!

Been there.
Paralyzed? Are you going to put her down?
Spend one last day with her. I don't know if she is ridable, but do something fun and enjoyable. If you cant ride her take her on a long walk along the trails. If she cant really walk, just give her a good grooming, some treats, and just spend some heartfelt time loving on her.
It wont be easy to say goodbye, but at least you will get to do it. Its a much better way to say goodbye than if her death came as a surprise, and you didn't get to say goodbye at all.
Just remember that she will be happier and in a better place. Im sorry to hear you have to go through this.

The task you have been presented is never an easy one. That is why it is usually a blessing when the animal will go in her sleep. I recommend you just keep her alive until the quality of her life is no longer worth living. Make her comfortable and happy until you just know maybe it is time to say goodbye for forever.
Going through the same thing with my eldest dog.
