Me and my horse really love eahother but sometimes when i'm petting her she looks at my mom. does that mean that my horse likes my mom better??
No, I don't think so.
My horse does that to my mum as well.- Like when I'm cooling him out, he always tries to walk over to her! I think it's because my mum always gives him treats & never rides him, where I make him work! Hahah :)

Your mom has secretly been decieving your horse and feeding it out behind the barn late at night with treats that will only make you cringe in pain.
Your mom knows the right spots to groom, how to saddle so it feels good and brush the mane just the right way.
Read up on the chimpanzee love affair, you don't want to go that direction, love triangles gone bad!
Seriously, come on, if this is your main worry in life, you better never grow up and move out. I will take the violation on this gladly lol.

Your attaching human emotions onto a horses behavior.....Your putting way to much power into a look......horses base things on respect and who they can push around....to them you are a source of food and if you appear weak they will take advantage of you.....horses like attention and respond to strong leadership and positive and neg re-enforcement. You have to stop treating a horse like a human.
i Definitely think it because she gives him treats!
my horses do that same thing, expeshaly if they here a wrapper!
but no, he doesn't like your mom better, he might think she's a little interesting when your brushing him cause she's in front of him.

Sorry hun but horses aren't *that* smart and they don't display human emotions. Horses are horses. There was probably a sound coming from that way, or your horse just decided that he wanted to look that way...
As someone mentioned earlier, horses are herd animals and they have that sense of leadership roles that need to be in place- they have a pecking order in the herd and like with horses, with you, you need to be the leader of your horse, thats how you get respect from your horse, not by treating it like a human.
