Ok... My son desided that the tank was getting dirty. He saw that there was stuff on the glass and desided to spray WINDEX onto the glass. Oh, and thats not all... He but dish detergent in the water. So far we have lost 2 fish. But the bottom feeders are staying well alive so far. We are cycling the water. Any other things that could help out. Needed in less than 30 minutes of asking
net the fish, put them in similar temp water, rinnse everything with non iodized salt and start over, float the fish before you put emm back .

As long as the detergent hasn't affected the filter bacteria the tank will be OK.
If the cycle bacteria have also been killed, well just keep changing the water untill it recovers.
But you MUST get the detergent out of the system NOW. Leaving 1/2 of the detergent in the system is likely to be fatal.
