SHARKS SOLD AT WALMART?

what kind of sharks do they sell at walmart?? thanks

They don't actually sell sharks at walmart. I've seen bala "sharks" and iridescent "sharks" over there, but nothing else. Balas are actually barbs and iridescents are actually catfish.

the ones sold are very small but grow to the size seen in the picture I STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU DONT GET ANY FISH FROM WALMART because they dont clean the tanks properly it brings diseases into your tank in which the shark dies and all the other fish you may have die...... try a store stricktly for fish like BIG AL'S

I have 3 ID sharks 2 that are black and 1 Thats albino (pink)

They used to sell Albino, Balla & the red tail ones but be very careful buying your fish from there. A lot of the time they'll keep sick fish in with the healthy ones & what happens is they look good but after a week or two they start acting weird & die.

I never have had good luck with fish from Wal-Mart & I've had fish tanks for a long time. Good-Luck!!!

I've seen(and bought) Bala, Red Tail and Columbian sharks, but I think Columbian sharks are a kind of catfish.

please do not buy them! they are either

bala sharks: need to school that is 3 or more and they get to be a foot long, they are a barb.

silver tip shark: actually a catfish, get to be 12 inches and when adult they need a salt water tank.

irredescant shark: several feet long!

red tail or rainbow shark: also a "catfish" and they are bullies, they might kill whatever fish you have in your tank.
