I was wondering how many fish i can house in this tank (its 48litres?). At the moment i have 3 very small goldfish (7 cm) and two very small weird fish (very very skinny but about 5cm long and are a yellow colour and they have blue stripes).
How many more fish could i fit because at the moment my fish don't know what to do as i just moved them from another bowl and this bowl looks 4x bigger..

you have enough for ONE fancy goldfish (meaning the round kind not the thin kind).
your tank is WAY overstocked. return them... and NEVER accept, buy, or adopt fish that you don't know how to care for, let alone don't even know what it is!

You ... don't really sound like you know what you're doing.
First of all, bowls? We should be talking about tanks here, not bowls.
Secondly, that's too small for more than *one* goldfish, let alone whatever else you've got in there.
Thirdly, it's kind of crucial to have at least some idea what kind of fish you've got ...? Goldfish are cold water fish, and their tank mate options are very limited.
I'm more or less positive the other two fish you've got are tropical, and can't properly be housed with goldfish.
Anyway, you're way, way over stocked.

It doesn't matter if they're small now. Depending on what kind of goldfish they are, they could reach over a foot in length.
