in the previous months i had gotten 4 fancy goldfish, about three weeks later my mom and i cleaned the tank. The tank has a filter, oxygen, and light. Well a few days later after we cleaned the tank three of the fish died. There was very tiny white bubble look a like things on them. Finally, they died completely one of the fish remained. Later during the week i went to go buy two more fancy fish and i told the store person what happened and he told me that the tank needed bacteria. I bought the bacteria and i put the new goldfish inside once again. A few days a go one of them died and a few moments ago the last one also died. They also got the little white bubbles. Why do my fish keep dying pllz help!
what do i do?

Main issues: The tank is much too small for a single goldfish, and three weeks is simply too long for an overstocked tank to go without cleaning.
-Beneficial bacteria is harbored in your substrate and filter media. There is not enough in a seven gallon system to break down the waste of a goldfish efficiently. Because fancy goldfish grow 6-8 inches in length and produce more waste than the average fish they require appropriately sized tanks with heavy filtration. Figure 20 gallons for the first and 10 gallons more for each additional fancy goldfish.
-By keeping fish in an overstocked situation they are subjected to poor water quality which takes its toll on their immune system making them susceptible to all kinds of things including the parasitic infection ich. Characterized by white salt-like markings covering the fish.
-A properly stocked aquarium should be maintained on a weekly basis by performing a partial water change of 25%
-An overstocked tank would benefit from multiple weekly partial water changes.

those white bubble that were on your fish is a common fish parasite known as ich. very common in fish from pet stores. most likely the cause of death due to suffocation from the parasite hosting itself in the gills. cure. in hard water/saltwater tank use coppersafe which is copper sulfate. in freshwater use super ich cure which is a combo of melachite green to kill the ich and nitrofurazon for secondary bacterial infections. keep in mind that in new tanks the amonia and nitrite levels should be monitored due to the lack of nitrifying bacteria in new tanks.
1did you cycle your tank?
2 that is way to small for even one goldfish
3 cleaning your tank gets rid of the good bacteria so do a maximum of 50 percent water change though less and more often is better
I would try to either return the fish or buy a 30 gallon and don't get anymore fish.

Sounds like ich, tiny little salt grain white dots on fish.
BTW- Your tank is way to small for goldfish, I would opt for a Siamese fighting fish instead of goldfish, goldfish can get as long as a foot long.

me
The water change only helped your fish, didn't hurt it.
Your fish are dying because your tank is WAYYYYY too small. For 4 goldfish you need 50 gallons. The rule for goldfish is 20 gallons for the first fish and 10 gallons for each next one so even if you just wanted one goldfish you'd need a tank more than twice the size of what you have!!!
If the pet shop told you that you could have those goldfish in that tank, please don't ask them for any more advice as they are insane!
In a 7 gallon tank 1 betta would be happy. He could even have tankmates like an african dwarf frog, or shrimp, or a snail or two. But nothing else should live in there.
