Should I just stick with 1 angelfish in my tank or could i have 2? i have 3 lemon tetras, a clown loach, and a pleco along with a baby angelfish. Also, do guppies or dwarf guaramis go well with what i already have?
Hey there, the rule is 1" of fish per gallon. Estimate the size of the fish and see if you have room. Don't forget the pleco since he's usually at the bottom or off to the side, he's easy to forget. I find guaramis to be a little aggressive and I don't think the other fish would like that at all. Guppies are cool tho. But only if you have less than 20" of fish, maybe 15 since they're still growing.
Clown loaches grow to 12 inches they need a bigger tank. Also they are schooling fish. Angel fish are also schooling fish yes you can have guppies and guaramis but again TANK SIZE is very important.
You will have to upgrade very soon.

A full grown angel fish needs a tall tank. A full grown clown loach needs about 50 gallons. A pleco that doesn't stay under 5 inches is going to need a larger tank. Guppies will nip on the angel's fins. A dwarf guarmis would be fine in there as would the tetras. You probably can't do two angels.
In my 20 gallon I have 4 cherry barbs, 6 cory cats, 1 dwarf guarmis, and 3 rasboras
