I have a tadpole, but he doesn't swim that much. He just sits at the bottom and doesn't really swim. Is something wrong or is he fine? I give him food, but it sinks to the bottom and the pebbles are small so he can't see them. What should I do?
well, tadpoles are just naturally pretty lazy-looking creatures. If he just sits at the bottom, that's completely normal (I had fifteen once) and as far as food goes try feeding him something different, such as Reptomin (found in like walmart and pet aisles) anyway, the best way to tell if they're okay when they're just sitting like that is to poke them, not hard at all, just really gently. He should move away, and thats when you know that he is fine.

In my experience...tadpoles aren't really built for swimming around a lot. They're kind of....awkward. I wouldn't worry about it, some tadpoles just don't do it as much.
he is fine he is just relaxing we relax don't we! so why can't tadpoles. Just think of things in the, ways.
