Hi have 2 female guppies pregnant in a 10 gallon tank i used to have 1 male in there but he died i got a heater but the oxygen is turned off because of the baby and the carbin is out of the filter lots of plants is this ok for breeding guppy setup?
Not sure why you have removed the carbon, but it sounds good. Keep in mind though, after the fry are born, they either need to be put in a different tank away from the adults, or they need lots of plants (java moss is great for fry) very close together in a corner. Close enough so that the adult fish will not be tempted to go into the plants.
It sounds fine to me. Make sure that you provide plenty of cover for the fry in the form of bushy plants such as Cabomba and Hygrophila. Also you may want to remove the fry to prevent the parents from consuming them. If you suddenly become inundated with fry (guppies can reproduce very quickly) then you might have to obtain a second tank to house them all.
i would just get a fish bowl for the babies and put a heater and air pump in it the air is fine for them
turn the oxygen back on and yes that is a good setup
I have 20 baby guppies right now they are 3 days old
