My ghost shrimp is pregnant what do i do?

i just bought 7 ghost shrimp for my son, this is the 1st time we have ever owned these. they are in a small aquarium about 2.5 - 5 gals im not sure. there is a filter that sucks from the bottom of a tube near the bottom of the tank and then flows back in the water from the top. anyhow i just noticed that one of the shrimp has a bunch of eggs, what do i do? will they be ok with the rest of the 6 shrimp or do i need to take mom out and put in a different smaller tank. i have a betta tank with no filter system that isnt being used will that work or do the shrimp need filter? and if i do put her in a different tank how long can she stay in there with the hatched and when can i put the hatched with the rest of the shrimp in the big tank..?? please let me know...
my 4 yr old son is excited for the baby shrimp and i dont even know how to take care of them. ahhh!!! thanks

yes take the mother and the eggs out or they might get eaten by the others
