How can i get my Betta Fighting Fish to mate?
I have a male and a female and there currently in separate tanks. Will they fight if i put them in a tank together? Also, should i leave the pebbles at the bottom of the tank? or should i take them out whenever there in the tank together?
the pebbles are okay..

wait for the male to make a bubble nest, that way, you'd know if he's good to go!

put him in a big tank(not deep but wide) along with stuff(plants rocks etc...) then put in a separator.. on the other side, put in the female.. observe what happens and take off the separator when they look good together... just dont forget to separate them right after the mating... things are'nt gonna l;ook good...

Breeding Bettas is time consuming and doesn't always work out for the best. They are picky little things.

I always find ehow.com helpful, so here ya go!
