Hello I have and 8 week old mini daschund that has had his first set of shots. Today i noticed he has been having diarrhea with some blood and yellow mucus in it. No foul smell, he eats, drinks(vet recommended mixing in gatorade with his water), and plays some. Im taking him to the vet first thing in the morning in clues guys as to whats going on guys?????
Sounds like parvo. Best not to wait until morning since it's the weekend you'll have to go to an emergency vet anyway. No time to delay with a puppy with diarrhea. He can dehydrate and die very quickly,and if it's parvo, treatment needs to be started yesterday.

He could of gotten into some trash and ate some..Getting plants,pieces of chewed items or foreign items and change of diet can trigger diarrhea.. Yellow musuc can be signs of some kind of intestinal problems..Please do take him to a vet in the morning..If the vet is closed,call his office phone and they will have a number for you to call in case of an emergency.. I hope the little guy will be okay..
