My dog just finished giving birth about an hour ago, she is still shaking a litt

How do you know she is done? Did she say, that's it? Unless you did an x-ray or ultrasound and know for a fact that she only carried 7 inside of her, you have no clue. she is probably still in labor. Might have one in breech position. I would strongly suggest a visit to the vet to be sure. Next time you decide to breed her, please be sure you have a good breeder/mentor close so they can help you. Or, better yet, don't breed.
Call your vet and get this girl in there for a check up, like yesterday.

If she is done giving birth she should be calm now unless a nervous *****.She may not be through labor yet.Make sure you get her to drink some water and if things seem to be going bad get to the vet.In fact call your vet now to inform them of the delivery,ect. since you do not appear to have experience in this area.

I'd say no. Normally once they have finished they happily settle down with their brood and have a good rest. Is she still contracting? I think I'd take her out on a lead to pee (do not leave her out there - bitches have been known to drop a puppy outside) at which point you can have somebody (or send somebody else out there with her) clean up the nest and check the puppies. This might help settle her down. Are the puppies content?

If you are concerned, phone your vet and get his advice - he'll probably ask you to bring her in and at this point, I'd be doing that. Take her whelping equipment with you - the car journey may make her whelp another puppy!!

Oh and stupid question but do you have enough heat around the whelping box/area?
