It does not hurt her it just seems to itch and no horrible smell or anything like that but she does slightly tilt her head at times. She has had no infection or head trama, from what I read hematoma's are painful but I'm not sure. Does anyone have an idea?
A hematoma is a collection of blood beneath the skin that may or may not have swelling, like a bruise. It will get better as the body absorbs the old dry blood that has clotted. Be sure your information is correct and from a reliable source like your vet.
She could have an ear infection, it seems bad where I live. It might also be a tick. Just take her to the vet, it's better safe than sorry.

canine aural hematoma was the most common surgical oppuration last year, so yes it could be hematoma, considering its very common.
But before you get too worried visit a veternairian, it can be cured.
