What do i do? I dont want to take away his man hood but i may have to :(
Neuter him, he will still be a male just not humping every thing in sight.
I suggest getting him neutered. Now is a good time to do it. The younger they are the less traumatic it will be and the faster they will heal.

Neuter him! It will make him stop and he will be well behave. Just take away his "man hood". You'll be thankful.
my dog started doing that when he was younger than 9 months .. he doesn't anymore because we got him neutered. i didn't want to do it either but sometimes you have to and if you don't want it to have puppies than you might as well get it neutered :)

please have him neutered and get after him about the humping do not allow it. you are not taking away his manhood he'll still be a boy just with better manners and with built in birth control.he will also be much cheaper to license.
Just neuter him, it will calm him down and ensure that he does NOT get prostate cancer. not to mention making lots of unwanted puppies that more than likely will have to be put down.
btw: it's no reflection on you 'manhood'

Ask the vet about a steroid shot...I forgot what it was called but it works sometimes. If your dog humps something do a loud noise and put him in a different room. Do that repeaditly and he should get the drift that if he humps something...he gets put into another room.

our bulldog does it. he humps every dog he sees. neutering does not always help that problem. he is a male thats what males do to show dominance. its not desired by owners but they are dogs. thats what they do. neutering is not guarenteed to make him stop.
If he is humping people and other dogs it is a dominance thing. And ya of course you probably should get him fixed
neuter him or give him a girl dog so they get puppies and he stops humping things. He has reached puberty but he has no manners. i dont like neutering cuz it takes their gender away. think if you got neutered
If i had a nickel for every time someone idiotically said that they do not want to get their dog neutered because they think it will take away their manhood, i would be a very rich person.
One dogs don't care if they have balls or not, but if you are really worried about it, get him neutered and ask the vet to put in neuticals, he will look like he has balls but he will not be fertile. If it sounds ridiculous thats because it is.
Just get him neutered, you obviously can not handle an intact dog.
There is a high chance you're dog will get testicular cancer.

He is on heat that what makes him want to hump people and other dog, get him neutered the problem will be solved.
Okay well neutering him MIGHT help but chances are he will still hump after he's neutered. Humping is actually a form of dominance for dogs. Not sexual. They hump to basically show "I own you!" You should neuter him just for medical purposes anyways..he'll live longer, he won't be as stubborn, he might not hump anymore, and he'll be easier to train. However, if you really don't want to, you really need to get him into obedience classes and start learning how to be the pack leader and get control of your dog. In obedience classes you will learn how to properly correct him when he starts humping. But for starters, anytime he does it, you need to immediately stop the behavior by firmly saying NO! and put him in the down position in front of the dog or person that he was humping. This is a submissive position and it will put him below whoever he just humped.
