How Long To Keep Open Dog Can In Fridge?

There are only the big cans of Wellness Puppy Food (Wet) And my dog is a chihuahua/minpin so I don't think he can eat it all up in 3 days! After all, I am only putting a spoonful of it in his dry food. So what do I do? Do I freeze it?

I have the same exact problem, I put the can in a zip lock bag so it keeps better and is kept away from other food stuffs. Lets all write to them and ask for smaller cans?

maybe so you can use it all up and not waste money, change the measurements of wet and dry food, so you're using a little more wet food and a little less dry food??

I find that some foods tend to go bad faster than others - don't know why. I also give a spoonful of Merrick's canned twice a day with each of my dog's meals and so 1 can will usually last a week. I use those plastic covers that you can get at pet and grocery stores to cover it in the fridge. See how long it will last (a good sniff will tell you if it's past it's prime). If the food starts going bad before it's used up, freeze half the food and use only half at a time.
