Is wellness a good for kittens?
I have a 5 month kitten i have had her for about 8-9 weeks and i have been feedin gher wellness for kitten wed n dry(i mix) and i just spayed her and now i am starting to gradually give her wellness core (thats goos for kittens and adults) with her kitten wet food. is wellness good? is there something just as good thats no so expensive?
price is really not killing me but im curious
natural balance is the best on the market...pricy but far better than wellness and she will eat less and produce less waste...it's all natural humane grade food for cats...buy it at petco
im a vet
Wellness is an excellent food. Chicken Soup isn't as good as wellness but it's a decent food at a reasonable price. You can also check out Taste of the Wild. It's grain-free and is about as good a dry food as you can get. All wet food is a better diet but if you can't feed all wet, be sure to feed as much as you can. Cats need the extra moisture wet food provides to keep their kidneys functioning properly. Here's a great website on optimal feeding for your cat.
