My brothers went to a Dodgers game today and when they came home they said there was Coyotes outside our house! So my sister knowing that she had let her cat out earlier, went to check it out... He hasn't come and we have been looking for hours!!! Do you think he is okay? What can I do? We just lost my ferret two months ago and I have just gotten beyond that!!! Please! I can't lose another pet!!!! Should I get my sister another cat or possibly a dog??? We can't find any blood or fur around anywhere!!! Do you think he was just scared away??? Please anything to help!!!

No one can answer that for you. Hopefully everything is fine and the cat is just scared, or busy causing kitty trouble.
Don't go out and buy another pet, that won't fix anything.
If the cat comes home, don't let them out again! especially knowing there are coyotes in the area. That would be really irresponsible!

Prepare his food outside. Like, if he eats canned, take the can out and open it there. If he eats dried, put some in his dish and shake it. If he's close, he'll hear it and come running. Do a little bit more searching. At least one person (probably your sister) should stay home in case the kitty cat comes.
Maybe you should keep the pets indoors or get a fenced yard.

it depends on what the cat usually does. If the cat comes inside every night, and tonight he doesnt, then you might have a problem. Just wait it out a few days and if nothing, then im really sorry. I lost my cat to a coyote and he was really special to me. I hope you find your cat! if not there are plenty of awesome cats out there looking for a new home.
Best of luck!

Look up any trees or a high area you have around your house. When cats get scared they usually climb up high out of harms way. The coyotes may have got him, I think you may just need to wait and see. Sometimes cats will stay hid for a while. Give him till monday night and then start asking around or putting up flyer's for his return.
He's over at my house.
