My kitten is three months and he was a stray kitten so when he eats he eats like there is no tomorrow. Recently he picked up the habit of eating everything that's on the floor. Like scrunchies and carrot peels literally anything that's on the floor. So, 20 minutes ago he threw up all the food he had in his stomach to the point where foam came out. First, he threw up red throw up with half a scrunchies and pieces of carrot peel. (His throw up was red because that's the color of his food) He then walked away and started throwing up a creme color that was like pudding. He then had nothing in his stomach and threw up foam. He won't eat nothing now but since he just threw up I think he's still nauseous. Maybe he threw up because he has 2 different kinds of food since there is two cats in the house, adult cat food and kitten food. Help meeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!
Take him to the vet ASAP!
Sounds more like he ate something he shouldn't have, like a scrunchie. Clean up everything off the floor and don't let him eat random stuff any more.
why are there carrot peels on your floor. Clean you house so you don't kill your kitten. They don't know what they should or shouldn't eat. There are foods that are lethal to them. I hope your kitten it ok.
It sounds like he ate the wrong kinds of things and way too fast. I would feed him just a little at a time so he doesn't overeat or eat too fast. I would also make sure you keep a clean house.
Don't leave things laying around. 2 out of my 3 cats will literally eat plastic if we leave it laying around. That includes grocery sacks. We've learned to pick things up off the floor.
When my cat was a kitten we had another cat in the house too, (adult) so we wold keep him in a room were the door would close to keep him from eating her food. That helps, He still throughs up now mainly from furballs and eating to much. Don't leave food out at all times and try to keep as much of a clean floor as possible, when he/she gets older you can leave the food out more regularly.
Hope I Helpes =D
