Is taurine we take the same taurine we buy for our cats?

Hi, did some research on taurine for my bengal cat but I am not sure where to buy in the uk or if the taurine is the same as opposed for cats.

my cat is one year old now so i would like to add taurine in to his food as bengals need more taurine in thier diet.

any help appreciated.

Taurine is the same.

Get a quality cat food from your Vet. I recommend Medical but I'm not sure if that is available in the UK. There is no need to supplement with a good quality food.

Any good cat diet from a vet will have sufficient taurine. I have 1 Bengal and 2 Abyssinians. I am also a Vet assistant and Animal Nutritional advocate.

All taurine is the same. Same for humans, for animals or red bull, for that matter ;) The only difference is the quantity or concentration. I'm not sure, but I think taurine is a prescription medicine, if you think your cat needs additional taurine, you should see your veterinarian.
