I recently had a picture of my cat published in a book and I got lots of comments about his freckled nose. I always thought they were normal but I grew curious and looked at the pads of his feet and they were freckled too. I rescued him from a shelter so his breed is unknown. His fur is shaggy and long and has golden fur and markins on his fur similar to a tabby's. I have volunteered at multiple vets' offices and shelters and I have never seen any cat that has any similar markings. Why is this?
