We just found a cat in my neighborhood and it is a baby kitten it is no more then 2 months old. It is in such bad shape he might die. His eyes were really goopy and we cleaned them and we put neosporn on them. and it seemed to calm down abit. but the goop keeps coming back.and we are bottle feeding him with kitten formula and giving it watter. what else should we do. help
he needs to see a vet and please do not put neosporin on his eyes.
Do you have an animal shelter close by? Please take it there, let a vet have a look at him.
either find someone to take it to the vet, or take the poor thing yourself. don't put neosporin on it's eyes either.
there are animal centers around run by charity's you should take him down, they will look over him and advise you what to do, they don't charge you. he needs to be checked out he could have all sorts of problems you don't know how long he has been defending for himself. he could have been deprived of food and you will gradually and healthy need to bring his weight back up, if you just feed him it can cause some problems in the cats tummy.
Hope this helps

Animal Care work
if he seems dehydrated he can have pedilyte. if his eyes are goopy he needs optic antibiotics pet stores sell it it is called tetramician i believe. if he is not weened check him for diarrhea if his stool is less than a toothpaste consistency add baby rice cereal to his formula. if you are not going to take him in to a vet at least call a vet office and get some advice. good luck.
Don't put neosporin on his eyes!
You should never give any medication if it's not prescribed by a vet..especially if it isn't even for eyes. Take a cloth moistened with water and lightly clean the "goop".
There are many emergency clinics, google them. The longer you wait...the worse he'll get.

Don't put neosporin on his eyes. it will make matters worse. keep doing what your doing accept 4 the neo. and try 2 stay up all night to watch him. take him to the vet as soon as it opens. please try to keep him =)
neo= BAD!!! please do not do this... just get a luke warm paper towel and wipe it way GENTLY!!!
make sure he stays warm, a heating pad on the lowest it goes with a towel around that will work. please be sure also to not over feed him, if he hasnt eaten in while an over feed with just hurt him, feed him in small amounts every couple of hours... you're probably not going to get much sleep tonight so just keep him company. kitty's love a heating heart so if your gonna be up just let him cuddle up on your chest it will remind him of his momma and make him a little more comfy!!
then take him to the vet as soon as you can!!
good luck!
