Help! i stepped on my kitten!! =\'(?

i dont know what to do. i stepped on my kitten when i was opening the door to get in my room and he was in the way. he made this loud cry and now i cant stop crying. i feel so bad. is he probably hurt? should i take him to the vet? i feel soooo bad

First, we dont know if its hurt, its possible, check and see if it has any broken limbs, if not see if its walks funny/lumps, just tend to it, i'm sure its find though, if things look bad then you should take it to the vet

Is he showing signs of any discomfort or pain?
Is he acting alright? Playing, moving fine, eating, and using the restroom?

If he is showing signs of discomfort, pain, or behavioral change...get him to the vet.

Does he look hurt or continue to cry, if so take him to the animal hospital. Did you step on him with alot of your weight, if so I'd take him anyway since he is a kitten. It's not your fault. My cat sleeps on the top of the stairs and every morning we have to avoid tripping over him lol. Cats sleep in weird places.

if he cries when you touch him in a certain spot or he seems non responsive to you all together take him to a vet immediately.

DO NOT CHECK FOR BROKEN LIMBS - by manipulating him you could make matters worse and they could splinter and come through his skin or pierce an organ.

Leave him alone and see whether he is walking by himself, eating, playing etc. If there is anything different about him at all then you need to see a vet immediately.

Well done. Is it still walking, maybe you should stop crying and check. What part of it did you step on and how hard did you do it? If it is on his back maybe you should take it to the vet, if not give it a treat or something. :)

poor thing! you should watch him closely and if there seems to be anything wrong you should take him to the vet as soon as you can. Hope he's okay!!

Cats love affection sometimes they do overreact not because they are really hurt but because they get shocked by the accident. The best thing is to pick the kitten up and cuddle it so it knows that everything is back to normal.Check and see if it's hurt if not everything is ok don't feel bad about it because it always happens I have had cats my whole entire life and it is impossible not to step on them. They always love to play and demand attention by going to your feet meowing all the time but after a couple of accidents they do become more careful. I know how you feel because I feel the same I get real sad about it and then I baby them and everything ok.

Of course you should take him to the vet, there could be some massive internal injury, you can't see injuries through skin, you know.
Get off the PC and get to the vet already.
