I don't know about gothic or punk names other than perhaps naming the cat after a band, singer, actors, character, etc. Is it female or male? What is the cat's personality like? I wanted unique names as well and I researched Native American names and meanings, then I researched names that had meanings...eventually I got to Japanese names and found Amaya which means night rain and my kitten is all gray and it's just a pretty name. And easy to say. My other kitten I just wanted a name that represented something I liked..so I named her Tara after the plantation in Gone with the Wind. It all just depends on your preferences and your cat's personality..
