What foods can you put in your Blue and Gold Macaw's diet to make it scream

What foods can you put in your Blue and Gold Macaw's diet to make it scream less?
Lots of love, attention, a structured day - same time for playtime and attention every day, same bed time every night, etc. Lots of toys and rotate the toys every few weeks to keep the bird from being bored. Macaws are like a feathered two year old, they need lots of love, stuff to do, structure, attention, interaction. My blue and gold loves to watch tv - you can try this or put a radio in the room and play music too.
bird owner 20+yrs.
What foods make you talk less? : ) if you want five minutes of silence try some penutbutter on bread, my quaker will spend up to 20 minutes enjoying it. but there is no majic food that makes them want to scream less(if there was it would be all my quaker would get to eat) try Margies advice but also keep in mind if its ecseesive- somthing MIGHT be upsetting him- envirment, lonliness, or an illness mind u most parrots just like to scream a little bit now and then- oh and if its a "squak...squak...squak ect." he needs somthing- food-water-pooped on his favorit toy and wants it cleaned ect
rat poison that will shut it up.. how do u ask a question like that
is there a food that makes u talk less..? if u don't like ur pet then y have it..??
It is not just about the food. How long have you had this bird? Is this your first bird? If it is a newly owned bird find out from the seller what was fed? Parrots are instinct driven birds, if the food you are feeding is not a recognized food it can starve to death. In the wild if it is not known it will not eat it. A happy or understood bird screams rarely. They all have loud times and quiet times. It is not about what you can do to the bird it is about what you can do to understand the bird. Birds are very unique creatures, not like kitties or puppies. Every thing we do in their environment matters. Tonight after dark I shared a piece of peach with my Mango, a Macaw. He checked it, refused it, I offered again, and he bit me hard. He drew blood. Knowing that he has never had peach. I turned on the light, and offered again. He took it and loved it. Many things happened here. I offered something he did not know, and in the dark offered it again, in a way I was forcing him or doing something that he did not understand. In the dark he bit me. They take each minute happening and scream, bite, reject. It is up to us to understand what this all means. They are such complicated creatures. With a bird it is about the understanding of the bird. If you expect them to act in a way that humans understand you will be disappointed and angered and frustrated. Your bird is missing something, it is up to you to understand what it is.
