Is this unusual? I know this is a desired trait, but how hard is it to come by? Should I keep this bird, or sell it? I raise cockatiels. I purchased these birds seperately and paired them together not knowing any backgrounds, and the hen (Albino) has a bald spot, but produces some Albinos that do and some that do not. What do you think?

There are several cockatiel specific groups on Yahoo! groups you might want to look into. I used to breed Tiels... from what I remember, it is a good thing to NOT have the bald spot and is one you'd want to breed to try to keep that in a blood line. Of course you'd want to have two w/out the bald spot to get the best results genetically. There is a lot of information on this though, and I'm sure the people on the Cockatiel groups on Yahoo! would be more than happy to help you out.
There are also Cockatiel Societies you can join as well, and they will give you a wide range of information on different subjects with Cockatiels.
