What happens is i take an egg away from its nest?
My small brother took the egg, I put it back
I was wondering, if I didn't put it back would she still incubate the other eggs?
She does not count and will continue on the eggs with the one gone or back in the nest. She will however abandon the nest if she feels a safety threat from too many visits by people.
It depends on the bird..in some cases they may continue incubating the other eggs, but other birds may realize an egg is gone and assume a predator has found the nest and they might abandon it due to this. Keep in mind, it is illegal to disturb the nest of wild native birds, they are protected by law.
Good job putting the egg back!
It is against the law and Mother Nature to steal an egg from a bird.

Good you replaced it. The mother would have incubated the others and she will incubate the one you replaced as well.
most likely it would because she might not even know its missing. plus since you did put it back she will still acept it for birds have a bad sence of smell
she would still sit on the other eggs. Tell ur bro not to do that though if an egg gets to cold the baby dies.
she'll (or the dad) will eat tat egg, and incubate te others
