Pet birds need their rice cooked and served at room temperature. Feeding your pet birds raw rice can cause them digestive disorders.
There are many fruits, vegetables, and other foods you can feed your pet bird. Cantaloupe, apples, bananas, blueberries, peaches, broccoli, spinach, zucchini, corn, and peas are a few of them. You can give your pet bird hard-boiled eggs, cooked pasta, cooked rice, cereal that is low in sugar (no high sugar cereal allowed), to name a few others. Avoid giving your bird chocolate, caffeine, avocados, rhubarb, cabbage, onions, asparagus, and mushrooms. These foods are toxic to all pet birds.
I'm providing a link so you can see that you should avoid giving pet birds uncooked rice:

Owned parakeets and finches for 15 years
You didn't say what kind of bird you have. But most birds, small and large like spray millet. It is considered a treat for them, and they usually will eat it from your hand. Just hold the spray, and let your bird eat from the end.
Just bought a supply for my cockteil this afternoon. My parakeets loved it too. Canaries love it too.
why would you think about feeding a bird RICE it makes there bellies swell and it exploads inside them and then they die that's why people throw rose pedals or blow bubbles at weddings dint you watch animal plant i would feed it bird seeds or maybe some chunks of bananas fruit or maybe some nuts
ANIMAL PLANET
NOT RICE. It expands once wet and kills them. That's why people don't throw it at weddings anymore. Stick with approved bird seeds and maybe some fruit and/or nuts chopped up small.
I would suggest you join "Feeding Feathers" it is a wonderful resource on how to better feed your parrot.
