I have a Yellow female budgie who is 1 and a half and a male that is 1, i have'nt allowed them to breed, and they used to live in seperate cages, besides when i played with them which was/is daily for about an hour. i bought one at 10 weeks and one at 8 weeks. Dad built an avairy which they are in now and will be b permanantly. i want to know what colour babies they will have? Blue the male which is a dark blue and white and Bell the female which is completely yellow?

I HAD A YELLOW FEMALE AND A GRAY MALE. SHE HAD MOSTLY YELLOW BABIES. THERE WAS 1 THAT WAS YELLOW WITH SPOTS OF GRAY. THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL. MAYBE THAT GIVE U AN IDEA.
Yellow budgies are what is called green series....and in budgies green is dominant. You will only get green or yellow babies if your yellow female is NOT split for blue. Split for blue means if the yellow budgies parent or parents was blue. Only if your yellow budgie is split blue will you get any babies in blue.
